LK HeatBooster

Extra heat when your system needs it

LK HeatBooster provides supplementary electric heating when a system needs additional capacity, helping maintain reliable performance during peak demand or in installations without an integrated immersion heater. Choose from our standard 3 kW and 9 kW models, or work with us to develop a customised HeatBooster around your system's layout, controls and performance requirements.

How the HeatBooster works

Installed in a hydronic system, LK HeatBooster adds electric heat when the primary heat source cannot meet demand. Water circulates through the unit, where an immersion heater raises its temperature before it returns to the system. This provides additional heating capacity during peak loads or whenever the main heat source requires support.

Depending on the model and system design, HeatBooster can support space heating, domestic hot water or both. Our standard models cover common 3 kW and 9 kW requirements, while customised versions can be adapted in capacity, dimensions, components and controls.

Our standard HeatBooster models

Our two standard models provide supplementary heating for different system requirements. Choose the model based on the required output and whether the system uses one or two supply lines.

3 kW · 230 V · One supply line

LK 471 provides 3 kW of supplementary heating and connects to one supply line. It offers a straightforward way to add extra capacity when demand rises or the main heat source requires support.

LK 472 HeatBooster

9 kW · 400 V · Two supply lines

LK 472 provides 9 kW of supplementary heating and connects to two supply lines. Its integrated zone valve directs the flow according to the system's priority, making it suitable for applications that support both space heating and domestic hot water.

Every customised HeatBooster starts with the requirements of the wider system. We select and configure the pipework, valves, electronics, connections and heating capacity to create a complete unit that fits the application.

Beyond the standard range

Our standard models cover many common applications, but some systems call for a different capacity, layout or configuration. In those cases, we develop a customised HeatBooster around your technical, spatial and control requirements. Pipework, valves, heating capacity, insulation and control integration can all be adapted to suit the wider system.

Our engineers, CAD specialists and test technicians work with your team from the initial concept through testing and production. The result is a complete unit designed to integrate with your system – technically, physically and operationally.
